Professional background

Ms Schilling is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon specialising in head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery. She is honorary associate professor of the Head and Neck Academic Centre (HNAC) in the division of surgical and interventional science at University College London.

Ms Schilling completed undergraduate degrees in medicine (Imperial College) and dentistry (King College London) as well as a research PhD in oral cancer.

Ms Schilling is co-director of HEADSTART, Royal College of Surgeons accredited national training program for sentinel node biopsy.
