Our thoracic/respiratory medicine service offers a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical service for adults with conditions affecting the lungs.
We have specialist services in:
- Severe asthma
- Bronchiectasis/Lung infection
- Bronchoscopy services
- Lung Cancer
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)
- Oxygen assessment
- Pleural Disease

The department has a strong academic basis and is active in basic science and clinical research (see links)
