We treat over 150 patients per year. Some people receive urgent treatment whilst an inpatient at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery whereas others have a planned (elective) care. Occasionally repeated treatments are required. We run a hotel pathway for some people who require regular plasma exchange where they can stay in a nearby hotel overnight and attend the hospital on a daily basis for their treatment, avoiding the need for overnight hospital stays.
