The service offers comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment and care to adults with cerebral palsy and neuro-disability. We accept referrals of patients over 16 years of age.
The team is composed of a Consultant neurologist, neuropsychologist, a clinical nurse specialist, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist and a speech and language therapist.
The aims of the service are:
- Help bridge the gap during transition from paediatric to adult services.
- Offer specialist multi-disciplinary reviews tailored to your needs
- Provide a key-working service as a point of contact for any concerns or queries
- Help co-ordinate your care with other community services, specialist centres and healthcare professionals.
Services provided include multidisciplinary assessments, transition clinics, specialist therapy clinics, nurse-led telephone and video clinics.
