The Adult Audiology Diagnostics department is based at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospital and sees patients with hearing and balance problems. We ensure that we have the experienced staff and equipment to test for all ranges of hearing and balance disorders and we endeavour to do this in a 'one-stop shop' clinic to enable a swift diagnosis of the pathology. Patients will then be managed either by the audiologist or the medical team.

How to refer
Internal Referrals can be completed via EPIC, by using the referral tab and selecting ‘adult audiology – diagnostics’. Please include the reason for the referral and the testing that you would require. For oncology monitoring service it would be really helpful to give the dates set for their treatment cycles.
External Referrals can be sent to uclh.admin.ada@nhs.net, with a description of the history and likely testing required.
