The special haematology service provides a comprehensive investigation of haemolytic amaemia, haemoglobinopathies and red cell enzymopathy.
Access to patient results
Results are electronically transmitted to trust affiliated GP surgeries via an electronic link. Any other GPs requiring results will have a copy sent to them if an address is provided on the request form. Results for patients seen in outpatient clinics can be requested by phoning the laboratory and asking for a copy of the results to be sent via post.
