You might have worked in retail or in warehouse positions. Whatever your experience we want to hear from you if you are committed to working for NHS and can work in some capacity Monday to Friday.
Roles available will differ and depend on the help needed by your local NHS Trust but below is a list of tasks you may be asked to undertake:
- Assisting the ward clerk
- Photocopying
- Answering phones
- Data entry
- Ordering PPE
- Patient transport booking
- Reception duties
- Confirming or changing patient appointments
- Assisting in the Pharmacy departments
- Porter duties
- Picking and packing duties for medical supplies
- General administration duties
Reservists are a paid workforce who support the NHS and complement the existing NHS workforce. Local hospitals and NHS services can call on the ‘NHS reservist community’ depending on their staffing requirements and pressures in their area, creating a bank of extra resource for when it is needed.
