The Central Venous Access Team provides a nurse-led service to teenagers and adults already referred to UCLH for cancer treatment.
We insert PICCs, implantable ports, Hickman lines and temporary central lines, and provide support, education and advice to patients, carers and healthcare professionals in all matters relating to central venous catheters.
This is a nurse-led service. If you require information about central venous catheters, you can contact one of our specialist nurses from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm on weekdays on 020 3447 7491.
