Professional background

I am a consultant and honorary associate professor at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH and UCL Eastman Dental Institute. I am involved in the treatment, administration and the management of the orthodontic service, including the diagnosis, treatment planning and management of severe malocclusion.

I have a special interest in the early intervention for developing malocclusion. I am the lead clinician on the orthodontic/paediatric dentistry mutlidisciplinary team (MDT). I have an active role in research and the publication of scientific material and am involved with postgraduate teaching and training at all levels - lecturing, seminars, tutorials, clinical and research supervision.

I am on a number of local and national committees. I am a journal referee for a number of national and international journals. I am a council member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and examiner for MOrthRCS(Ed) and MClinDent (UCL).
