Professional background

Monika Cedro graduated in dentistry from King’s College (University of London) in 1999. After qualification she gained broad experience in all aspects of dentistry, working in practice, the community dental service and as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery and oral medicine in various hospitals including the Eastman Dental Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

In 2006 she commenced her specialist training in orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She was awarded a Master of Science in orthodontics by University College London in 2008 and the Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. She subsequently undertook her post-CCST training at the Eastman Dental Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, obtaining the intercollegiate Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2013.

Monika was appointed to her current role as consultant orthodontist in 2015.
