Professional background
I have been a consultant at UCLH since early 2004. My areas of expertise include providing anaesthesia for patients with head and neck cancer and opthalmic surgery. I also cover lists for urology cancer, colorectal and gynaecology services.
Outside theatre I look after aspects of governance and risk management for theatres and anaesthesia. I regularly interview and examine for UCL medical school and at the London Deanery for training grades for anaesthesia. I also teach on courses for trainees and consultants, including simulation.
