Professional background
Dr Mathurdas graduated in 2006 from Universidade do Porto (Portugal) and completed specialty training in Internal medicine at Hospital Distrital de Santarem (Portugal) in 2013.
She works as a Consultant Acute Physician at UCLH since 2015 and is the clinical lead for the Enhanced care unit – a Unit that provides high quality, safe and effective care to patients with acute medical pathologies who require enhanced monitoring or treatments, bridging the gap between ward level care and critical care.
Aside from her clinical work, she has done the Ready Now leadership programme (NHS leadership academy) and is involved in research and teaching activities.
