Professional background
Dr Harvey was appointed as consultant in care of the elderly and acute medicine in 2007. She studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh and completed specialist training in general internal medicine and medicine for the elderly in North East London. Dr Harvey’s additional specialist interests are in the management and prevention of falls and in orthogeriatrics, particularly the management of hip fractures.
