Professional background
Dr Asma Sarwar graduated from University College London (UCL) in 2006. She was awarded the masters in oncology higher degree in 2017. She completed a 3 year clinical fellowship in brachytherapy at University College Hospitals and as part of this undertook a MD(res) at University College London which was awarded in 2022. She has been working at UCLH as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist since 2023 focusing on the treatment of gynaecological cancers.
Her specialist interests include treatment of gynaecological cancers (cervical, endometrial, vaginal and vulval cancers), advanced brachytherapy techniques and image guided photon radiotherapy.
