Professional background

Dr Sen is a triple accredited consultant physician in stroke, geriatric and general internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate specialist training in London and was subsequently appointed as a consultant at UCLH.

He works within the comprehensive stroke service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square and the geriatric medicine department at University College Hospital (UCH).

Dr Sen treats patients across the stroke pathway at NHNN; providing emergency interventions on the Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HASU) and specialist post-stroke care and rehabilitation on the Acute Stroke Unit (ASU). Additionally, he runs general stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA) clinics. He combines stroke and medical expertise to manage a diverse range of complex conditions.

He has an active interest in stroke clinical research and lectures on the stroke masterclass for UCL undergraduate students.
