Dr Arjuna Nagendran

Dr Arjuna Nagendran qualified from the University College London medical school in 2011  with a MBBS BSc (Hons) Neuroscience and completed his specialist training in neurophysiology and neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Queen Square. He completed training in paediatric neurophysiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

He was later appointed as consultant at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and Queen Square Centre of Neuromuscular Diseases. He currently performs neurophysiology for the nationally commissioned highly specialised muscle channelopathy service within the Centre of Neuromuscular Diseases, utilising advanced neurophysiological techniques in the assessment of rare muscle and nerve disorders. He also leads a team performing routine nerve conduction studies and EMG within the hospital’s main clinical neurophysiology service. As well as EMG, Dr Nagendran also continues to have a strong interest in epilepsy and EEG, as well as evoked potentials, in both adult and paediatric settings.
