NHS England has announced that it is expanding and improving services for children and young people experiencing gender incongruence and gender dysphoria.
Read NHS England’s announcement or find further information for patients on the GIDS website.
We would like to reassure young people being supported by our GIDS team at UCLH that there will be no immediate changes to their care or treatment. UCLH will play a vital role in the development of the new services which NHS England has announced.
If you are a young person supported by UCLH GIDS, or their parent or carer, and you have any questions about these developments, please contact the clinic using the number on your patient letters.
