Our chief financial officer Tim Jaggard has been appointed deputy chief executive of UCLH.
Tim will continue to fulfill his existing responsibilities as UCLH chief financial officer, but, as deputy chief executive, he will take on line management responsibility for corporate governance and, next year, estates and facilities as well. This new role will also have an external focus across North Central London and with the London regional team.
Tim said he was “really excited” about the appointment and was looking forward to continuing to work with a wide range of colleagues within UCLH and across the sector.
“In addition to the new areas of responsibility, I will be focussing on continued partnership working across North Central London and the wider NHS,” he said. “Working as part of an integrated care system to improve the health and wellbeing of the patients and communities we serve is one of our top areas of focus, as well as ensuring UCLH goes from strength to strength.”
Tim will also remain finance lead for the North Central London integrated care system. This is a partnership of local authorities and health and care organisations in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, working together to improve the health and wellbeing of a population of 1.5 million people.
His appointment as deputy chief executive followed a process led by chief executive Marcel Levi and a panel of non-executive directors.
Marcel said: “Tim is a dynamic and highly respected leader who will be a great ambassador for UCLH in this new role.”
