Our facial pain clinics are patient-centred and evidence-based, encouraging patients to take control and self-manage their persistent facial pain. There is access to a wide range of multidisciplinary clinics including psychiatry, clinical psychology, dental, neurology, neurosurgery, oral surgery and complementary medicine.
Our oral medicine service offers a comprehensive range of care and management focusing on diagnosis and non-surgical management of predominantly chronic, recurrent and medically-related disorders of the orofacial region.
The oral & maxillofacial surgery department focuses on the delivery of care to patients with dentoalveolar needs. Priority is given to patients requiring surgical extraction of teeth including wisdom teeth, and those requiring management of complex problems with cysts and other types of jaw pathology.
Special care dentistry is concerned with providing and enabling the delivery of oral care for people with an impairment or disability. This may be physical, sensory, mental, medical, emotional or social.
