The paediatric team specialise in the rehabilitation of children and young people aged 0-18, following orthopaedic surgery. The therapy team comprises of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and a therapy technician. Following your surgery, your rehabilitation will be tailored to your individual needs and will help you return to activities and daily life following your sarcoma surgery.
If you require continued rehabilitation after your discharge, this may either take place at RNOH or at a hospital/clinic/GP surgery closer to your home. Your therapist will discuss this with you and let you know whether any further rehabilitation would be beneficial for you and where you will be referred to.
