The Red Cell Network organises a variety of events to reflect the training, educational and peer-support needs of healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with sickle cell disease and thalassaemia.

Currently, we offer:

  • Network Support and Educational meetings. These events are open to consultants, trainees and other healthcare professionals within the Network.

The Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF) has developed an internationally-recognised educational programme, with the objective to provide lifelong education opportunities for health professionals, patients and their families, and raise awareness amongst policy makers and the community at large.
