Our skills are in the multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis and management of disorders of speech, hearing and balance in all children including those with complex and special needs. We see children of all ages up to the age of 19 years.
- Permanent Childhood Hearing Impairment including:
- Sensorineural hearing loss or deafness
- Permanent conductive hearing loss including microtia and atresia
- Mixed conductive and sensorineural hearing loss
- Progressive hearing loss or deafness
- Auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD)
- Otitis media with effusion (glue ear) and middle ear dysfunction
- Tinnitus and hyperacusis
- Auditory processing difficulty (APD)
- Hearing assessments for children with complex or special needs
- Vertigo and dizziness in childhood including:
- Benign paroxysmal vertigo of childhood
- Vestibular migraine
- Central vestibular disorders
- Vestibular neuronitis
- Vestibular hypofunction

Please note that urgent referrals include children under 6 months of age with possible hearing difficulties and all children with a sudden hearing loss or who have had bacterial meningitis. Please fax the referrals through to the above number which is a safe haven fax.
