Professional background
Dr Simister trained at Charing Cross Medical School. He completed his specialist neurology training at the Royal Free Hospital in 2007 before taking up a one year Department of Health funded stroke fellowship at UCLH.
He is dual accredited in neurology and stroke medicine and has been a consultant since 2008. He is currently clinical lead for the UCLH hyperacute stroke service.
